  3. Open the NAX-Mic-Check app inside the folder.
  4. Allow microphone access — drag the window anywhere, it stays on top.

Use it inside OBS

Keep a live mic indicator on your stream layout or preview monitor.

  1. In OBS: Sources → + → Browser.
  2. URL: https://mic.nax.com.my/
  3. Width 480, Height 320.
  4. Tick Control audio via OBS off, and allow the mic prompt in OBS's browser (Interact button).

Window Capture (desktop app)

  1. Run the NAX Mic Check desktop app.
  2. In OBS: Sources → + → Window Capture.
  3. Pick the NAX Mic Check window.
  4. Most reliable option — it reads the mic directly, independent of OBS permissions.
